A stroll through the quiet of the three cemeteries west of Central City – City Cemetery, Catholic Cemetery and Knights of Pythias Cemetery – offers a time-softened view of personal tragedy dating back to the 1800s.

To reach the cemeteries, head west on Eureka Street, which becomes County Road 3 or Upper Apex Road. Park where the road forks, and the City Cemetery is to the east, the Catholic Cemetery to the north and the Knights of Pythias Cemetery to the west.
