The ruins at the Manitou Cliff Dwellings Museum were moved from southwestern Colorado in the late 1890s to preserve them.

The display illuminates the architecture and the lives of the Anasazi Indians who lived in the pueblos 700 years ago, with museum exhibits focusing on their culture and artifacts.
