Since the 1920s Ft. Morgan residents and visitors have had the pleasure of a golf outing on the lovely Quail Dunes Golf Course. The original 9-hole course was designed by Hanry Hughs. A back 9 holes were added in the 1960s, along with a driving range.

The course has been designated as an Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary, thanks to 57 acres of natural area preserved on the 165-acre course that runs along the South Platte River. Wildlife in and around the course includes eagles, hawks, deer, quail, pheasants and coyotes.

The course is open during daylight hours most of the year, although weather may force closures. Cost is $59 for 36 holes of play.
