Saddleback Ranch is an 8,000-acre working cattle ranch that offers horseback and wagon rides, cattle drives, snowmobile tours, sleigh rides, tubing runs, and all-terrain-vehicle rides, plus big-game hunting trips in season.
The ranch also offers horseback, wagon, and sleigh rides that include dinners for guests. It is located 15 miles west of Steamboat Springs.
The ranch has been family-owned and family-operated for four generations. The current owners, Wayne and Luanna Iacovetto, bought the ranch in 1993 from her father, Jim Thompson, and run it with their oldest son Justin and his wife, Cara, and their daughters. Jim Thompson’s parents, Harry and Lilly Thompson, settled on the ranch in 1928.
