Lake Pueblo State Park
Location: Pueblo County, west of Pueblo

Lake Pueblo covers 4,600 acres, has 50 miles of shoreline and is prolific with fish. The park also has 10,000 acres of land.

Two marinas, a host of campsites and recreation on both water and land make the park an excellent experience for day visitors or overnight campers. The lake is open for boats 24 hours a day, but launching is allowed only when inspection stations are open. No swimming is allowed in the reservoir, although wading – feet on the ground – is permitted.

Sailing, motor boating, tubing on the Arkansas River, waterskiing and fishing, along with bicycling, hiking and picnics, are available.

The park is surrounded by mountains, including Pikes Peak and the Wet and Greenhorn mountain ranges.

There are several campgrounds with a range of amenities.
