The MacGregor Ranch and Museum preserves a homestead ranch dating back to 1873, founded by Alexander and Clara MacGregor.

It is the last remaining working cattle ranch in Estes Park, and it contains the original items and buildings the family left. When their granddaughter, Muriel Lurilla MacGregor, died in 1970, she left the ranch in trust for charitable and educational purposes.

The main ranch house museum shows original furnishings and memorabilia of the MacGregor family, including family clothing and handcrafts, furnishings, original oil paintings, rock and mineral collections, diaries, books and early historic photographs.
