The Rosemount Museum, located in a 24,000-square-foot Victorian mansion, is described as “where the fashionable East met the rugged American West in the last decade of the 19th Century.”
The 37-room house was built by Pueblo businessman John A. Thatcher and named for his wife’s favorite flower. Nearly all the contents are original to the house. The house has been featured on the A&E cable show “America’s Castles.”
